Relic

Relic is a hand-carved travertine vessel that borrows its form from ancient lidded urns and ceremonial objects — familiar in silhouette, yet stripped back for a contemporary setting. Its rounded body, stepped detailing, and sculpted lid give it the presence of an object unearthed rather than newly made.

Cut from solid travertine, the stone’s open pores, mineral markings, and subtle tonal shifts remain deliberately visible. Time feels embedded in the surface — each cavity and irregularity becoming part of the object rather than something to conceal.
